Actor, singer, songwriter, director, and producer Joey Lawrence was born Joseph
Lawrence Mignogna Jr. in Philadelphia, PA on April 20, 1976 to proud parents Joseph &
Donna Mignogna. He has two brothers Matthew & Andrew Lawrence. ("TV Guide"). "He
graduated from Abington Friends School in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania in 1994, and latter

His first acting role was in a Cracker Jack commercial and at the tender age of five
he made an unforgettably adorable appearance on Johnny Carson. From 1983-1987 he
stared in the television show Gimme A Break. Then, "From 1991 to 1995, Lawrence co-
starred in the hit TV series Blossom, in which he played Joey Russo, a dim-witted teenager
who frequently said "Whoa!", which due to the success of the show became a catchphrase in

His self-titled debut album was released in February of 1993, when he was only
